That he was burned out and didn't want to do it again in some ways is not surprising. That we went through the actions of retiring and now may be reconsidering (all of this is speculation as far as I can tell) is regrettable but it shouldn't close the door. As far as 'know your roll'; I would dispute that. The reality is that players on a team are worth different amounts to said team. Role players are role players. Franchise quarterbacks are flat out worth more than punters. The point I do agree with you on is building confidence in a QB other than Favre. They are clearly sacrificing Rogers future as the QB and the odds of him playing for GB after his contract expires go to zero. But when a team is this close I think it is a sacrifice worth making. I think some of the jets were harriers becuase they seemed to be hovering. It was pretty cool the police cleared the lower part of the lake, and these jets would fly in, come really fricken close to the water, and jet almost straight up over the shore/tree line.
